GAMING
Gaming has been a big part of our lives since we were kids.
Nush has fond memories of playing all the classics like Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo along with her older brother, games based on her favorite cartoons on her Gameboy Color as her family traveled a lot, and web based games like Neopets & Club Penguin. As she got older and focused heavily on her education she didn’t play as much but she still enjoyed playing NBA2K and Mario Party socially from time to time.
Doza on the other hand has been playing games without a break since Dr. Mario on the original Gameboy. His family moved around a lot but the one constant in his life was always gaming. After being gifted his own Gameboy Color with Pokemon and Zelda, the joyous pastime solidified itself in his life forever. From there it snowballed into every Nintendo console since, dabbling with PC gaming here and there with games like Runescape, and eventually getting really into Metal Gear, before getting really REALLY into Smash, Dark Souls, and MMORPGs. This continued and only increased in intensity all throughout college and remains his biggest passion to this day.
Shortly after Nush & Doza met, Nush embarked on a pre-planned solo adventure which meant we had to maintain a long-distance relationship for a while. During that time Doza would stream games for Nush while they video chatted when she could. Once we were in the same time zone again, we started playing all kinds of games together during our free time. Unfortunately, as we both advanced in our corporate careers and continued adulting, it became harder to make time to play games together. Eventually, we set a time in our crazy schedule where we stopped everything to play together and by streaming, and inadvertently building a community, it held us more accountable to continue.
Although we started live streaming on July 16th, 2018, it sometimes feels like we’ve just begun even though we've completed over 100 games together! You can check out a full list of all the games below in chronological order or by Glob Year!
