Notes
Shrimp Cooking Time: Air fryer cooking times can vary depending on the size of your shrimp. We cook ours at 400°F for 5 minutes, but check for doneness and adjust as needed. The shrimp should be opaque, firm, and reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
Adjust the Spice Level: We use Kashmiri red chili powder for its vibrant color and mild-to-moderate heat. If you prefer a spicier dish, adjust the amount to your taste.
Cooking the Spinach: Fresh spinach wilts quickly, so don't worry if 4 cups seem like a lot! It will reduce significantly as it cooks. Stir occasionally to help the spices coat the spinach evenly.
Serving Suggestions: We love serving the shrimp and spinach over basmati rice for a satisfying meal, but you can also pair them with quinoa, jeera rice, or your favorite grain.
Make It Quick: If you have leftover rice ready to go, this meal comes together even faster! You can also prepare the shrimp and spinach at the same time to cut down on cooking time.
